We build places to discover places.

Le Roi du Monde is an independent European house for the places, landscapes, architecture and culture that shape the continent — published as collections rather than listings.

Each collection is built the same way: public records read closely, organised by geography and century, and published so that anyone can trace where a fact came from. We document broadly. We recommend selectively.

A Grand Tour is not an itinerary sold by the day. It is one route read through several worlds of the house — the château explained by the village below it, the garden by the water that feeds it, the wine by the slope it grows on.
